Cereal Los Angeles Guidebook

The Cereal City Guide is a city guidebook from Cereal, a travel & style magazine based in the UK. Unlike other commercial travel guide, Cereal City Guide reflects Cereal’s values in both quality and aesthetic sensibility. In addition to being a practical travel booklet where the Cereal team personally visits the city and introduces carefully selected venues, its minimal design with beautiful original photos have built a loyal readership. The goal for this project was to redesign the Cereal City Guide for the LA edition.

시리얼 시티 가이드는 영국의 여행/라이프 스타일 잡지 ‘시리얼’이 출간하는 감성 여행 가이드 책자입니다. 도시별로 출간되는 시리얼 시티 가이드는 여느 상업 여행서와는 달리, 감성적이고 트렌디한 여행 가이드북입니다. 편집부가 직접 도시를 방문하여 엄선한 공간들을 소개하는 실용적인 여행 책자임과 동시에, 미니멀한 디자인과 감각적인 사진들로 이루어진 시리얼 시티 가이드는 공간 소품으로도 많이 활용됩니다. 이번 프로젝트의 목적은 새롭게 출간되는 LA 편을 통해 기존 책자 디자인을 리뉴얼하여 디자인/구성적으로 책자를 개선하고 보완하는 것이었습니다.
